US Ambassador pays courtesy call on the Senate President

On Wednesday, April 19, 2012, the US Ambassador to Rwanda Donald Koran paid a courtesy call on the Senate President in his office at Kimihurura.

The President of the Senate briefed Mr. Donald Koran about legislative process as jointly carried out by both Chambers of the Parliament. They also discussed how to build up a strong cooperative relationship between the Senates of both Countries.

This was the introductory visit of Ambassador Koran to the President of the Senate as a new US Representative to Rwanda and it has brought in a sound ingredient in strengthening the existing relationship between both countries.
